Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Modiq, operated by Ohris Concepts AB, org.nr 559562-0583, 1402 Passvägen 39, 147 53 Tumba (“Modiq”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Modiq is a fashion-discovery service: you describe an occasion or a mood, and a rule-based engine assisted by AI composes outfit recommendations, drawing on a curated catalogue and, optionally, the wardrobe items you add. Access may be staged, limited, or offered by invitation, and we may add, change, or withdraw features. If a change would affect your access to or use of the service in more than a minor way, we will tell you a reasonable time in advance and you may end the agreement without charge — see section 8.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Modiq.

3. Your content

Wardrobe photos and profile details you upload remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process, and display them back to you — including automated analysis that describes an uploaded item. Don’t upload images you have no right to use or that depict other people without their permission.

4. Acceptable use

• No attempts to breach, probe, or overload the service.
• No scraping, reselling, or automated bulk access.
• No unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

5. Recommendations, prices, and partner links

Outfit recommendations are editorial suggestions, not guarantees of fit, availability, or price. Product details and prices shown for third-party items are indicative and can change at the retailer. Some outbound links may be affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure. Purchases from a retailer are governed by that retailer’s own terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Modiq name, design, editorial content, and software are owned by Ohris Concepts AB or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them outside normal use of the service.

7. Liability

Modiq is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights. If you are a consumer, the wording above does not affect our duty to supply the service as agreed, or your right under Swedish consumer law to ask us to put it right if we do not.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time. If we change the service in a way that affects your access or use in more than a minor way, you can end the agreement without charge — see section 1. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product before they take effect. These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
